A brief history...
1976,
- The EPPE-SEGRiF saga began with the creation of INGRiF (bureau d'INgénieur du Groupe Richard Flamée) by Mr Richard Flamée, a Belgian engineer and entrepreneur.
- INGRiF's business began with the production and sale of radio frequency remote controls for industrial machinery (overhead travelling cranes, locomotives, etc.) and gauges for industry (thickness, force, etc.).
1989,
- SEGRiF (Société d'Electronique du Groupe Richard Flamée) was created out of the need to reorganise the INGRiF group, which had diversified over time into various areas of industry.
- These activities will include the gauges sector and the start of a partnership with Dr Brandt Gmbh, which specialises in force measurement.
- SEGRiF will be in a better position to offer its customers highly technical solutions, with a strong sense of service, supported by committed staff.
1991,
- The Group acquires EPPE of Nivelles (Etudes Promotion Participation Entreprises), which specialises in handling equipment and industrial lifting.
- Since then, EPPE offers high-performance handling and sorting solutions for a wide range of production and processing industries, such as the steel industry, quarries and cement works, the food industry, sorting centres, etc.
1996,
- The general management of the Richard Flamée Group is entrusted to Mr Jean-Marie Wintgens until 2020.
2000,
- EPPE is expanding its business by acquiring SOFELEC, a company specialising in the development of electronic and IT products for the transport sector (fuel management, access management, etc.).
2010,
- The entire Richard Flamée group becomes part of the French CFD group.
2022,
- SEGRiF and EPPE merged in July of the same year to form EPPE-SEGRiF, the Industrial division of the CFD group, which also included ASCO Instruments and ROUXEL Informatique.
- INGRiF then transferred its radio remote control business to the EPPE-SEGRiF subsidiary, to concentrate on the IT development sector for warehouse management (WMS, etc.).
Nowadays,
EPPE-SEGRiF, the electronics company of the Richard Flamée Group, specialises in particular in :
- measurement and non-destructive testing systems in industrial environments,
- process supervision applications,
- Access and fuel management,
- Industrial handling and sorting solutions
